Recipe Apricot/thyme jam

Enfin, ça y est : c'est la saison des abricots ! Alors vite, il faut prendre un pot et faire de la confiture d'abricots aux herbes aromatiques, pour se régaler ensuite lors d'un petit-déjeuner aux accents de Provence ou lors d'un goûter équilibré.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg d'abricots
  • 1 bouquet de thym frais
  • 1 kg de sucre cristallisé

Preparation

  1. Wash fresh fruit and thyme. P over the apricots, then weigh them.
  2. Add the sugar and macerate with aromatic herbs for a 1/2 day.
  3. Pour your preparation into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. From this moment cook for 30 min, check the cooking by pouring a few drops on a cold plate then tilt it, the jam must sink gently.
  4. Remove the thyme branch and mix.
  5. Take the pots, pour the apricot jam, close immediately and return for 1 min, then put the jars back to the location to let them cool.
