Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons (about 20g) of Tibicos kefir grains
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 dried fig (without additives, oil or sulfites)
  • 1 organic lemon or 1 organic orange cut into quarters
  • 1L of non-chlorinated water

Preparation

  1. Before we start, we invite you to consult Our user -managing section In order to learn everything about the fermentation process!
  2. Put the grains in a jar (like Bocal A Vis Le Parfait) and pour the water. Add the sugar, dry fig, fruit. Cover with a gauze and an elastic. Sugar perhaps white sugar, or brown sugar, brown sugar, vergeoise, muscovado sugar, etc ... but not sweeteners like stevia, aspartame, xylytol.
  3. Leave to ferment 24 to 48 hours at room temperature until the fig rises to the surface.
  4. When the fig is well raised to the surface, remove the fruits and the fig (you can press the citrus in the drink)
  5. Filter through a fine colander to recover the Kefir grains on one side and the juice on the other.
  6. Put the drink in a swing top 1l bottle. Leave the closed bottle at room temperature for another 24 hours for more sparkling, store in the fridge and enjoy fresh.
The more we wait, the more sparkling the kefir becomes. He keeps several weeks and becomes more acidic over time.

NB: If your water is chlorinated, it must be let it stand in an open carafe for 1 hour or 2 to evaporate the chlorine.

kéfir tout simple
1 litre d’eau non chlorée ou eau du robinet décantée 48 heures, 1 figue bio ,3 rondelles de citron bio 30gr de graines de kéfir et équivalant de sucre bio (50gr de sucre – 50 gr de graine)
Mettre dans pot 1l 5 style le parfait a température ambiante et laissez la figue faire son travail .
Dès qu’elle es a la surface l boisson est faite
Pas ustensiles en en ferraille moi je prends tout en pastique

J’ai fais ma préparation comme indiquée il y a 4 jours mais avec 2 dattes à la place d une figue , 1cuil café de sucre , les dattes ne sont toujours pas remontées , sauriez vous m’expliquer le pourquoi ?
