Recipe Vanilla flavored sugar

With a sharp knife, split the vanilla pods lengthwise to expose the seeds inside. Gently scrape the small black seeds with the knife blade.

In a large bowl, mix the vanilla seeds with the powdered sugar. Use your fingers or a spoon to distribute the seeds well throughout the sugar.

Place the vanilla pods scratched directly in the jar. Even after having removed the seeds, they continue to release their aroma.

Pour the mixture of sugar and vanilla seeds into the jar. Close it tightly and stir slightly to distribute everything well.

Let the sugar stand in the jar for at least 1 to 2 weeks before using it, so that the aroma of vanilla diffuses well.

After use, you can add sugar. Stir the jar from time to time to mix well.
Trick : Each time you use a vanilla pod in another recipe, you can rinse it, dry it, and add it to this same jar to strengthen the aroma!
